AK Awarded Prestigious New York Foundation Grant

All Kings was one of a small group of organizations to receive an annual grant from the New York Foundation, for the fiscal year of 2022. 

The New York Foundation, a long-time support of community-based organizations in New York City and New York state, supports grassroots initiatives that confront systemic barriers and inspire people to work toward a more just and inclusive city. Previous grantees include many of New York’s most inspiring, people-powered organizations, including the New Sanctuary Coalition, Community Voices Heard, the Arab American Association of New York, and the Minkwon Center for Community Action. All Kings was awarded an annual grant to support our administrative and developmental efforts. With the grant comes additional capacity building support, including support from the Lawyers Alliance for New York, an organization dedicated to connecting non-profits to pro-bono legal support, and the Advocacy Institute, supporting community organizations navigate the complicated legal landscape. 

Each year the New York Foundation receives over 250 applications. They award grants to roughly 15 new organizations. We are honored and proud to be added to that list, and are deeply committed to continuing to developing our communities and increasing access to our work.
