Our Nature Quest Returns!

As the COVID-19 pandemic has slowly waned in New York City, we’ve started to gather again in person. Last weekend, we held our first in-person Nature Quest, our signature initiation weekend, to bring new men into the brotherhood. 

This was an extra special weekend. While we were unable to meet online during COVID, we took the opportunity to revise the stories and protocols for our weekend – a process led by Omari Soulfinger. 

The weekend also honored the first use of our new event tent. Because we are committed to making all of our programming donation-based, we work to keep costs down on our weekends as much as possible. Men in the community donate their time to staff and cook for the weekends, and we host the weekend on a piece of donated land, in the lower Catskills. Our new event tent allows us to host these weekends at an even more affordable rate – no more renting camps or tents.
